I might be going, still working out the details. I have a good friend who lives in Brooklyn and he's been bugging me to get down for a show for a few years, he says you have to see the Hip in a small venue before you die.

If I recall, this venue is directly in Times Square.
I remember them advertising David Gilmour on their marquee when I walked by it a few times... if I'm thinking of the right place.

I will be going, sans girlfriend. It's a fairly new venue (good!), indeed smack in the middle of TS (bad!). It's a beautiful venue, but some complain the acoustics suck...

Getting really psyched for friday.Staying across the Hudson and taking a Ferry over and back.Is their an ideal bar near the Nokia theater?Probably wo'nt have too much time,have to get in line for the ga seating,or standing!What are the crowds like for their NYC shows?This is going to be epic!

some friends are catching the train Friday and hitting the show. I'm thinking about doing the same as I'm off to recover from the Philly show. Are tix still available/ is it GA

Heading up from Florida for the show. Mats....doing same as you...flying up thursday night...hangin in city friday...show...hang in city saturday...fly south on saturday night. staying right in ts. any locals posting places for early cocktails???
