I picked up Row 9 close to center on the 9th (could have had row 1 but wanted a bit further back) and row 17 on the 11th - the Friday seats seemed to be flying quicker. Did not try for Thursday the 10th.

Not since the Walker Theatre in 1991 and the Concert Hall in 2002 have there been consecutive shows and this time we get three - to quote bonner "this is epic".

I have for dance recitals...should not be an obstructed view, really all the seats in the concert hall are good.

Have any of us thought about the idea of taping this show? I think that would be a great way to relive the 'epicness' of this occasion!

Recieved my tix today in the mail.
Just wondering why it will even say "no cameras/recorders" on the tickets, even though the band willingly allows their fans to take videos, pictures, or boot the show. I got kicked out of a Tokyo Police Club show for bringing my camera, but I did so because the ticket didn't say I couldn't. I emailed the band manager after and he apologized profusely and is giving me a media pass to their next show.
My point is, why do venues insist you not bring cameras? Even if the band allows it. Isn't it up to the band or the act to decide these things? Besides, with 3G cell phones and the like what's stopping someone from taking pictures or videos? No venue security ever gives two sh*%s about girls in the pit with those dinky cameras you can fit in your pocket, but they'll waste no time escorting someone like me with a real camera out of the venue.
I swear I'm opening my own venue in Winnipeg one day.

I have pictures from the last Hip show at the concert hall and I don't remember anyone searching people as they came in. I'm hoping it shouldn't be a problem.
