Seems like all of the pre-sales for the shows that were announced today start tomorrow at 10am.

I know they're going to announce more dates later...it would be great if they'd do another full US tour in the Fall.

I don't know about the fall, but I wouldn't be surprised if August fills up with some more U.S. stops, just going from past tours. Here's hoping, anyway.

I may sound stupid asking this but what does "An evening with..." imply? What makes that different from your average concert?

The shows will be "An Evening With...", two-set affairs. There will be no support acts for these shows.

All the rave with fans when they did it previously because some great gems came out in the shows (and the sets were like 28 songs long).

No opening act. Evening broken up into two sets. Diverse setlists that encompass a broad portion of their discography.

The last time they did this they played a few tunes they had not played for some time. As noted on the web site, they do two sets with a 15min break or so and no opener. Others will know but my recollection was about 25 tunes in total for the show.

I don't know if there are many U2 fans on here, but between No Line on the Horizon coming out tomorrow and the Hip presale as well I am in heaven!

I'm in Guelph so I'm thinking one Kitchener show and two in Toronto depending on prices. I'm kinda surprised there are no Hamilton shows though.

Two sets by The Hip + encores. A 20 minute intermission between sets. No opening act. 30 or so, songs.

Do you figure over multiple night runs in 1 city the setlists are going to be similar???

With the price of tickets, I don't think I can afford 3 nights in Vancouver.
If I only do 1 show what is going to best? Hard decisions for sure
