Anyone interested in resurrecting this?
For those of you who don't know, here's the idea - I record a guitar track, someone else records a bass track, someone else records a vocal track, send them to each other, yadda yadda yadda... we have a song.
There was a little bit of interest last time around. I recorded a few but couldn't upload (I still don't know why). Then my wife popped out two little boys and EVERYTHING got put on the backburner. Now we're all a little older, a little wiser, this could be a little fun. If anything, it might help fill the time until there's some new album news.
Anyone in?

I'll help facilitate/mix, but I haven't played anything in far too long... and even when I was playing, I was terrible.
I have Andrew's bass recording for Family Band still on my server.
Upload/download your tracks here:

Hey guys. This sounds like a great idea. I "play" (notice the term very loosely) in a Friday night basement band. Basically a couple of hacks, hacking up some songs. We've got bits and pieces of a few Hip songs down, Blow, Bones, NOIS, Fireworks, Kings, ABAC. Can anyone explain a bit more about this process? How "pro" does the sound have to be in terms of recording quality? Also, any suggestions besides hiptabs for hip chords/tabs? I saw someone has the music to Family Band. Was that done by ear or is the music "somewhat" available?
Thanks,

Does anyone have the songs I recorded?
Its a good idea but this never gets off the ground. I recorded two songs nad no one played on them. Im not even sure we finished one song.

I've just uploaded 'At the Hundredth Meridian' on drums (an electronic drum kit; my acoustic drum kit sits at my bassist's residence). I intended to be more active with this project the last time around, but I found that differing formats, and differing software led to inconsistencies regarding tempo. Perhaps it is best to determine one song, or multiple songs, that we can agree to work on and work from rhythm up. I'm fully versed in drums and bass, and my guitar isn't terrible, but I think for consistency's sake, we should pick a few and stick to it.

As drummers have a tendency to disappear... maybe we should recruit this dude:

I uploaded my first attempt at the rhythm for Meridian. I know some of the lead so I can get that down some time this week unless someone else is up for it.
Are there any singers out there?
