Love Man U, huge fan, Ive actually flown to England to watch them play a couple of times. I was really hoping for Liverpool to win today, I think Man U can handle them easily, Chelsea will be tough opponents, but I think this is Man U's year.

GO RED DEVILS!!!!

I've been fighting for Fenerbahce in different threads, but so it rolls.

How can an all-England final get anyone excited? Chelsea and Man U JUST played each other. Sure, there's the arguement that if these two teams made it through, then they deserve it. But you've gotta wonder what kind of final it'd be if the Premier League wasn't allowed four teams right into the round of 32 and the Polish league (For example) was. I know most of us on the 'base dig Cinderella stories.

If Manchester can shut down Drogba, then it's all theirs. Ronaldo looked like dogshit (And I'm not referring to the top of his head) last match. But man, was it ever cool t'see Lampard score that penalty after what he's been through. Football, the glorious old game.

liverpool-chelsea was a great game, yes, but the first leg of the man u-barcelona semi was one of the most boring games i've ever fixed my eyes on.
i'm a huge soccer fan but the huge thing that irks me is teams can actually get away with a scoreless draw thanks to the 11-men-in-the-box strategy. man u had a PK early, granted, but after that they played for a scoreless draw.
pathetic ... and it happens all the time.

yeah, i'm not excited about the all-england final. have seen these teams play enough already.

... and how about that toronto fc!?

i am a die hard soccer fan. i follow many of the leagues in europe, all international play and the argentine league. but as far as this years champions league final...... GO BLUES!!!! i can't stand man u, never liked them. chelsea is my team in the EPL so i was pretty happy when they beat out liverpool, another team i hate.

how beautiful was frank lampard's penatly? so emotional it gave me goosebumps. i know if it was me i wouldn't have even dressed for th game after what he went through the previous week. anyways may 21 will be a good match but what i'm really waiting for is june 7th, (r.e.m. show) and euro 2008 kicks off.

Never liked Man U either, feels like cheering for the New York Yankees or something like that, it's no fun cheering for the "overdog". Plus I think Sir Alec is, has been and always will be a pompous windbag, it's never his fault when things go wrong, oh no sir, the refs screwed up, there's a conspiracy against us, or some damn thing.

Having said that I'm not exactly a huge fan of Chelsea either, I like some of their players, but their team was essentially bought by Abramovich, no romance in cheering for them either.

I wish Arsenal would have made it through, I love the way they play, such fluid and stylish and skilled football, it's beautiful to watch. They just need some more depth I think, they have the talent and the guts to win, but their best players just ran out of gas at the end because they had to be used too much, what little depth they had was ruined by injuries.

Well, being as United have just tied up the league (Ferguson's 10th league title with them), I'm guessing the Champions League might go Chelsea's way, sadly.

To give some perspective, I think it's awful that it's come to an all-England final, the Prem teams (United and Arsenal aside) tend to play poorlky in European competition, with a defensive and overly physical team, I'd rather watch Barca (well, not this Barca) any time...

hahaha, just to piss you off opiated!

chelsea are a tough team to beat give them credit, but in PK's anything can happen, its a tough way to decide a game. i still think man u should have won that game in regulation, we had some great chances, chelsea hit a couple posts too..it was a wild game.

I was crushed, that wasnt the time to get fancy, I know what he was trying to do and its worked for him in the past, but in those situations you step up and drill as hard as you can. With a rainy wet ball its harder for the goalies to keep it out, thankfully it didnt come back to haunt him that would have tainted his whole amazing season. I feel bad for Terry only cause I respect him as a player, but I hate Chelsea so tough s**t.
