We got a great series! The Flames played the traditional gimmie hard and laid the lumber on the Silicon Squali.

Wild game at the Shark Tank tonight. Flames were the better team in the first period, but six straight penalties in the 2nd killed any momentum they had and the Sharks took advantage (although it took them almost 9 minutes of PP time to finally score). Both goaltenders were incredible and the Flames' penalty killers were unreal. I have a feeling this is going to be a long series.
If Calgary can stay out of the freakin' box and try to keep it 5 on 5, they have a very good chance of winning this series. Take away all the PPs and the Sharks look pretty average to me. I just hope the refs can put their damn whistles away and let the teams play. Some of the calls tonight were legit, but by the 4th straight Flames penalty it started to become a joke and completely destroyed the flow of the game. Can't wait to see the atmosphere in the 'Dome on Sunday. It's gonna be insane. GO FLAMES!!!

   Take that Flyers.... watching Thoreson flopping around on the ice like a fish out of water, and then the Caps scoring after the ref refused to blow the whistle was amazing.. I think if that happened to any other team I would have thought it was a bad call by the refs to not blow the play dead, but the Flyers deserve it.
