I'm not sure actually, if so i'm not included.
I'm in 3rd place in my pool (out of 10). If it wasn't for injuries i'd likely be in first spot (Bergeron has been a killer). I pretty much always take a chance with my last pick, either go with a rookie or a veteran who i bank on to have a comeback type of year. It didn't work 2 years ago when i took Roenick, but this year with Backstrom, when other guys were taking 25-30 point guys like Lombardi, Ehrhoff, Christensen, i got a 70 point guy.

I've always planned on joining a keeper fantasy league, but never have. Will have to do so this summer. I usually join a fantasy league before every season...Yahoo, Smallworld, etc...didn't bother this season though.

A couple of things I heard crappy ex-NHL goalies say tonight while they were doing colour commentary:
- Greg Millen, talking about Andrew Raycroft: This season has been a disaster for Andrew Raycroft, but Leaf fans shouldn't forget how spectacular he played last season. (note: when he said this they showed Raycroft's GAA and save % from last season, which ranked him 31st and 34th among goalies who played at least 27 games last season).
- John Garrett, when the 'nucks pulled Luongo with a minute left and the Avs nursing a 2-1 game: If you are Joel Quennville, do you put Forsberg on so that he can score an empty netter in his return? (note: he said this roughly two minutes after a clearly gassed and out of sync Forsberg turned over the puck about three times on one shift).

I'm not a fan of Hughson, never have been. Not sure why, a lot of people seem to love the guy, but i find him rather boring, and i dunno, i'm just not a fan.
I only seen the highlights, but Crosby looked pretty good last night in his first game back. If the Pens can get the goaltending in the playoffs, they could be a scary team to play against. Rangers & Bruins both with OTL's last night to stay in a tie for 6th spot. I'm hoping the Rangers can finish in that 6th seed (even more so than #4 or 5), which would be, as of now, the Carolina Hurricanes. The Rangers have picked up points in 10 straight games, and 15 of 18...trouble is the Bruins have been just as hot.

Well Edmonton is currently in the bottom 5 of the league and will probably finish there. I really hope they don't win the draft lottery because the pick will go to Anaheim and one of the biggest pricks in Hockey, Brian Burke. Kevin Lowe must be kicking himself right about now, Anaheim's probably gonna end up with a solid player out of the deal regardless.. probably someone better than Dustin Penner.

haha hadn't seen that one before. I love when the boys at MSG dig up old stuff like that & show them on their broadcasts, not only of the Rangers but also their opponents.
What's going on withe Boston Bruins?? They were one of the hottest teams in a NHL for over a month, and then they lose a laugher 10-2, and follow that up a couple nights later with a 8-2 loss to the Maple Leafs!!
Almost as bad as the team i played on tonight! I'm playing in a rec tournament this weekend, we lost our first game tonight 15-4.
