I made an executive decision and decided the $10 would be better spent on beer.

Chris, did you manage to get posters for everyone? I think they look pretty sweet! :thumb:

Edit: I just read about the broken gear - I'm happy to have my poster (assuming I got one) out up for auction as a contribution to replacing gear etc.

I won't be online from this afternoon until after the show so let me know now if you want one, or if you have changed your mind.

And also confirm that you're cool with a cost of up to $30 per poster. I don't know what they will cost, but I don't want to get a bunch and then discover that it is too costly for someone.

I have a poster for each of these people. PM or email me your address and if you want regular post or Purolator/FedEx. I'll figure out the cost for the poster ($10), a tube ($3) and shipping ($___) and once payment is received your poster will be sent.

I just put 5 posters up for auction on eBay. Any funds raised will be used to repair the recording gear that a drunken idiot broke at the show.

Hey Chris, Sorry to hear about your gear. I can't believe that happened. I just placed a bid on ebay for 1.

I was at the show and purchased but unfortunately it got destroyed during the events of the night. When I went back to get another one, they were sold out.

Thanks for putting these up for Auction. I hope that you get enough to cover the damage costs.

Hi Chris,

I also bid on ebay for a poster. I bought 2 at the show and surprisingly got them back home with no damages. The one I am bidding on is for a friend that had to cancel the trip to Kingston.

I really hope you can recoup some of your expenses on the video equipment.

Cheers,
JoAnn

Thanks folks! The gear is audio-only and belongs to a couple of the regular tapers - Mark & Dave.

A couple more items will be added to the auction. Further cementing how awesome The Hip & their team are they have offered up an autographed program from the 2007 Theatre Tour and a 2007 Crew Shirt.

I'll get the auctions set-up and post the details here.

That's very cool. I'm sure you mean the 2002 Theatre tour program.
Does that mean if BigA puts on the 2007 Crew Shirt he can pretend that he is Ricky?

Cool, what are the 2002 programs like, design wise? I'd be interested in that for sure! On a side note: Were there any other tours which had programs for sale?

They also had a generic program that they gave away for the Road Side Attraction tour listing all the venues with maps and support band info and so on. And they had a year 2000 day-planner calendar book.
For the 2002 tour this is the book I believe they are referring to:

So beautiful to see that... very similar to the framed one that was a gift to Wally's family... with a picture of Wally in the center of it....

That is the tour book they have contributed. It is signed on the cover by all five guys.

The tour shirt is black with THS Crew on the left breast.

I'll get both items online by Saturday.
