#1

For anyone interested, there is an "iTunes presale" starting tomorrow at 10:00am for The Foo Fighters in Toronto.

Both Ottawa and Toronto dates officially go on sale this Saturday.

Thanks dude. I signed up for their mailing list but never get emails so that's a huge help. Where did you find that password?

That sucks about no Calgary show. Are the Flames at home around then?

For the Winnipeg show there were some really shitty reserved seats for the presale. Nothing within two sections of the stage. I'm just going to try on Friday.

I thought it was going to be a hard rock tour with the new material, that sucks. I know its still the Foo's but I was expecting a hard rock show. Im glad Im not going now.

Methinks someone f*cked up here...cause this is the press release Live Nation (the promoter) put out for the show:

The Foo Fighters have always been capable of both balls-out aggression and lady-killing melodic tendencies, and nowhere is this more apparent than on In Your Honor. For their fifth album in a decade, frontman Dave Grohl and company decided to split the difference by ignoring the middle ground and recording a double-disc—one CD is the heaviest, most ass-kicking record the band has yet produced, while the other is full of beautiful, acoustic-based tunes with guests like Norah Jones and Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones.

Now, to honour their more melodic, softer side, the Foo Fighters are embarking on a special acoustic show that will highlight the mellow half of In Your Honor and songs from past albums like “The Color and the Shape”. Everyone who has seen the band live knows what a devastating act they are when they crank up their guitars; now comes a rare chance to see a different, but no less awesome side of the Foo Fighters.

Don’t miss the Foo Fighters at the Air Canada Centre on Saturday March 22nd 2008!

Obviously this isn't the In Your Honor tour...

Also, it's a little odd the Foo's website wouldn't specify that they're acoustic shows prior to the tickets going on sale.
