Cleveland Cavalier LeBron James at Jacobs Field last night

Confusedcratch:

Lebron's a moron. Great basketball player though. Big Grin

I can't say that I wasn't extremely pleased with the way things turned out last night. Most fun I've had watching a ball game all season. :thumb:

Figures Colorado is up 2-0, I had them as my pick originally and switched it at the last minute because a friend of mine told me I was nuts to pick the Rockies over Phillies. Dink.

Yeah, I didn't think COL could keep this incredible streak going either. I thought that there was bound to be some physical or emotional fatigue after the intensity of the stretch run, , but apparently, that's what's happening to PHI instead.

Rockies and D-backs in the NLCS?

Looking that way.... Confusedhock:

Nice to see only the Yankees players making a big deal about the bugs. Confusedcratch: The bug spray does NOTHING to keep those Canadian soldiers away so it was a waste of time dousing themselves with that stuff.

GO TRIBE!!!!!!!!!!

I think Carmona did alright in his first playoff start. :rambo: :rambo:

It was awfully nice to watch Jeter hit into double play after double play. Big Grin And watch AROD fail yet again to make any real impression in the playoffs. Big Grin

Man, my predictions went to crap.

Okay:

Indians over Red Sox
Rockies over D-backs

I was just wondering that myself! Nice picture by the way!

With the benefit of starting now (fewer series to predict, so less chance that I have of looking like an idiot  ) here are my picks for the rest of the series.

ALCS
Indians over Red Sox
Cleveland will bounce back, Sabathia will pitch better in later series and Carmona will pitch well I think. It will be a titanic struggle, but I think it goes 7.

NLCS
Rockies over D-backs
Pitching is about equal, but Colorado has the better offence, so I say they pull it out in 6.

WS
Rockies over Indians
Team of destiny, man. Team of destiny. Rocks in 6.

Well, I was 100% correct on my AL playoff picks and 100% wrong on my NL picks (go figure).

But my WS Champion pick (BOS) is still alive, and I do think they have the edge over COL.

Rockies got shafted by having to wait 8 freakin days between NLCS and WS games. When you're riding the wave they are, you don't want to sit around while the momentum wears off!

Ya...I'm sure they're pretty pissed off having beat Arizona so quickly! Damn them, should have pushed it to seven games!

But I get what you're saying. When you're playing well, you want to keep playing. We'll see if they can rebound after such a long break.
