Sure, I'm on my 5th cup of coffee, but I am so geeking out! Where to begin!?!

First, the "100M" video brought back some amazing memories of my AMAZING Canada trip! (Had my first double double!) But just as cool, that shooter (was it you Mav?) did great work. Basically online the entire time, and managed to keep it in focus 90% of the time AND follow the action perfectly! Great job!

Then "Locked" in Irving Plaza? I honestly thought nothing would surface from either of those shows. Both great shows, even if the Rangers lost to the Sabres the night of the first show and the Buffalo fans were out-shouting the lame ass Ranger fans. (Except me!)

I love you. Seriously, I've been working on a way to present a show with one camera that to me at least, is more exciting that a camera on sticks panning or still on the stage.

It's not perfect - I can't quite focus fast enough - and I sometimes miss things, but I think it's a really good and interesting perspective, that's a little bit different - like the shot where gord is dripping on the camera - and in my mind at least, brings the viewer into front row. Ok, so I am bias, but I am really happy with the way these were shot.

I now have a bunch of shows shot entirely like this.

Anyway, thanks for noticing and verbalising. You actually, just made my day and as a result, I'm going to put up a few more clips shortly.

You guys are totally right. MAv, the way this is shot gives you the exact perspective of what it feels like to be in the front row. It's not always perfect in that you sometimes get blinded by the lights and you always have to keep your head on a swivel. Sometimes you catch things others in the back don't see/hear and sometimes you miss some things too. But what's so great about this perspective is that you not only feel like you are part of the show but you don't always feel like you are watching a DVD (or video clip or whatever). It's just one man's perspective at a great rock show and I think that is really cool!
