Sort of a collaborative tour diary by fans? I really like the idea. How would we start that?

Maybe I'll see if I can find a cool diary at Curry's or another Art supply store. Then, one of us starts, and we create some sort of running list of people and shows they are going to in the near future. Then, once you make your entry, you check Hipbase (or Hipfans maybe) for who is next on the list and send it to them before their show. There are probably some serious logistics I am missing but that would be the general premise.

It sounds like a great idea! Big Grin The only initial problem I can see is people not being able to post the book in time between gigs, but I guess that additions can be made retrospectively so it wouldn't really be a problem. I'd like to get this going before Europe, definitely! Big Grin

If it isn't going before Europe, I'll start one and pass it onto the people taking in the rest of the european shows, maybe we could get some photos and things added in. It could, I suppose, end up being handed in to the band too...

Exactly what I was thinking.
I'll ponder this a little more and see if I can't work out the logistics.

If people are willing to write reviews and things from recent/upcoming gigs, I'd happily put them together into a e-magazine or something - I need the InDesign practice as well. Wink

You mean, as an electronically distributed "newsletter" or mag?? Like we have an email list for anyone that wants it and we send out a quarterly edition?

Almost like a "tales from the hip" revise? if we could get some band support, that could be pretty cool...

That would be very cool.

To get it rolling, I can set-up the mailing list, just like EuroHip.

Yep, exactly that! :thumb: I don't know what the band could/would contribute but anything would be great. Some photos from yourself or MAv would be great. 8)

Let me know if you guys need any other help. I haven't posted much of my work on here, but I too am a graphic designer and I could help out Zenith somewhat...if he gets overrun with things to do of course.

Right, well I'm happy to add anything I can to this, and I think I might start a tour diary for the London show anyway and hand it over to one of you guys to carry on through!
