I have been into the Empire many a many times..............its very small and intimate.

The Hummingbird is the old Okeefe Centre isn't it? If thats the case, the Empire is way, way smaller...........no balconies or anything...........even if it says balcony on the seating plan it is not a true baclony, only two or three stpes up from the main level.

True about the balcony.. However IMHO the balcony is a bit lame for sit down shows since it's not on enough slope and if you are at all short and someone tall is sitting in front of you you won't see the stage that well.. However I don't expect htis will be a sit down show, so it should be be ok even if you got balcony seats...
