Virgin Mobile has a bunch too. I have 38 years old as mine.
It might help if you told us who your service provider is...

There are two easy ways I know of to make your own ringtones instead of paying.
I have not played around with it much but this first website is pretty cool - and FREE unless you use their content.
Check it out.

The second way is something I have not tried yet:
Cut down your mp3 to whatever size you want, then rename it to .mid
Then you can either email it to your phone or put it on your SD card or whatever. You can then save the attachment as a ringtone, sound etc.
I have Verizon so would email it to myself: (my number@vzwpix.com)

My friend has "In View" as his. I'm not sure where he got it from but he has two options..."phone rings once, phone rings twicee" or "i've been meaning to call you". Suits the theme.

I bought the razor from motorola - then bought a program that lets me upload mp3's to the phone. You can crop sections of any song to make it your ring tone... I have yet to go to a hip song as a ring tone - currently (1 year) I have Miss You by the Stones.

I love it when I get a phone call...

I'm with Rogers and I bought the "phone rings once....." ringtone. I then got a program to connect my phone to the computer and now I can splice any .mp3 file to use as a ringtone.

I have an Ericsson W300i (low-end Sony Walkman phone)

You can upload mp3's onto it, but Rogers locked the ability to use them are ringtones and alarms... Simply so you have to pay Rogers to download them...

Thankfully Sony is kind enough to offer a DRM (Digital Rights Manager) Packager that will convert the mp3 into a locked file which will upload to the phone and play as an mp3, ringtone, alarm, etc... But cannot be shared through bluetooth or any other function availble on the phone... (same as with and other protected downloaded file (such as a purchased ringtone through Rogers)

The emailing to your phone through Verizon works just about everytime. Try to keep it under 3mb for minimum crankiness though.

I've got the opening to "Family?" for mine. I did "Stay" for my roommate.

I'm using the "I've been meaning to call you, I've been meaning to call you, and I do" bit as mine. I used to use a MIDI version Blow that was almost unrecognizable, and then a version of No Threat that was so poorly done and fuzzy it gave me a headache.
