I’m not sure which Chicago radio personality failed worse in the Los Angeles radio market: Jonathon Brandmeier or Mancow? Each show had a few bits that were hilarious, unfortunately the majority weren’t.

In my humble, uneducated opinion (i'm sure Opiated would know WAY more on the matter), I find for the most part, American Radio is more "in your face" and talkative than Canadian radio...(at least in the maritimes anyway). I mean, sure the DJs talk, but their goal is to play kickass music (...or what they think is kickass at least). I remember driving through Connecticut, and almost all the stations had massive "techno"-like music pumping every second a DJ was talking and attempting to be funny.
Kinda bugged me.
I'm sure not every station in the States is like this...
And I'm not sure every station in Canada isn't.
Just my two cents.

In order to judge the relative quality of the Mancow one must first submerge oneself into the feces infested world of misogynistic humor and penis jokes that is morning radio. Selecting the "best" of these low brow idiots is like selecting which dull object to gouge your eye out with.
That being said, I am looking forward to hearing Gordy verbally joust with that fat tub of goo and his band of moronic listeners. With Gords sharp sense of humor and extensive vocabulary he will certanly hold his own and win some new fans along the way.

Not sure about anyone else, but when i clicked on the link this morning, and the "Listen Live", it seems like you have to pay for the membership to hear this guys radio show.

Why would anyone be willing to pay for commercial radio. Doesn't make much sense. Ah well.

OK... so I'm in, and it sucks.
In the middle of ABAC they cut to a commercial...
