not a problem - it's a great book, enchanting in it's own little way. I would highly suggest reading it. I really enjoyed this book, I'm not a huge reader and this one seemed a bit intimidating (anything over 400pgs seems intimidating to me) but it was great, I'm looking to buy a nice hard cover of it someday

I finally found a copy of that book, in some used book store in Toronto.
read it, then lent it to a girl I was seeing,
I made the mistake of ending things without getting the book back.
It was such a wicked old school copy as well, I miss it so much.
I think she burned it.

i really want to read it now, im going to get a copy....
the one really interesting thing is that my friend was in english; and the teacher administered certain passages from canadian authors to be analysed by people; and my friend got the part of the book which gord directly rips off in courage (the human tragedy, consists in the necessity part). Kinda fun
