Just found out the line up for the Ottawa Bluesfest this year running from July 5-15. Some really good performers including Bob Dylan, The White Stripes, Hawksley Workman, Blue Rodeo, Sam Roberts and a bunch of others

they are something else

certainly some big names on that list...but there is nobody on there that I would be in a hurry to go see. Bob Dylan could be pretty damn cool I guess but other than that...there's no Hip (which there should have been given their every other year history...) there's no New Pornographers...don't think I'll be checkin' anyone out unless there are some last minute additions.

Jonny Lang on the 9th would be worth the trip from windsor in itself.

highly recommended.

he won a grammy for his latest disc......although a "gospel" album...dont let that scare ya off.

He is phenomenal--totally upstaged the Rolling Stones when I saw them together in 1999. I'm actually considering the Toronto-Ottawa trek specifically so I can see him; he's even more of a draw than Buddy Guy or His Bobness.
