'Tragically Hip in Saint John - Sept. 12' Thread
#31

Yeah i checked out the site when I got to work and noticed that there were floor seats too (never even checked because I thought Section A would be the best and most of it was taken when i got the tickets...)

Not my preference for seats I don't think, but thats my fault so whatever... Just being in the Arena is good enough!!!

I saw SUM41 back in 2002 in the almost exact seats as you are in and the layout is the same they are some of the best balcony seats you can get Smile

Sweet, that makes me feel a bit better...
Was just so excited today when the tickets finally came online that I jumped at the first good seats I seen... It then came back and told me that one of those seats were no longer available, so I tried the seats next to those and got them...

I prolly could have made it into the first 3 rows of the floor too...
I only planned on just getting whatever seats I could get for St.John until this morning and I was like... screw that might as well get decent ones lol...

I know who has two tix for the second row. He is willing to let me stand with him (semi-illegally) if I film. So, do we have a second camera so we can make a multiangle?

Just to forewarn you, the last Hip show here in SJ, I was in the front row and security was quite strict about not letting people into the area if they didn't have tickets. Many people tried to get into the front row with us, but were basically removed from the crowd (and who knows where security took them from there....). You **may** have trouble "illegally" standing in the 2nd row if you don't have tickets. As for cameras, I have no idea how strict they'll be...

I was in the second row, and it was when people moved to the front is where they kicked out. I'm going to set up early, and stand between my two friends. I'm going to ask people on either side if they mind...
I'll say who I am and what I'm doing, and where they can get a copy for themselves if they would like to.
I know I had some friends further back, and midway through the concert, I felt a tap on my shoulders, and they were standing right behind me, along with a mass of other people that had made there way up.
If they ask me to move though, I will.

Well, it sounds like you've got this all figured out! Smile You will probably be just fine then. Good luck!

I'm in favour of all people not sitting in their designated seats to be removed from the venue. I'm no Hitler. I may be a Himmler though. Just a pet peeve of mine, that's all.

Yeah, I can see where it would get annoying...
But I don't plan on being annoying and drunk.
I plan on being around my two friends and taping. Security might not even notice that there is 3 people to two seats.

Sean, since I know you wouldn't be a nuissance, I'd be alright with it. However, for the other 99.9% of concert goers, :rambo: .

On the tickets for the fredericton show it says No Cameras/Recorders... I havent been to a show in well over a couple of years and the only time I tried ot bring a camera I got caught and they took it away. I really want to take pictures any ideas of getting cameras past security. I was thinking just put the camera in the bottom of my girlfriends purse?

Or how strict do you think they will be

Got the tickets in the mail yesterday (fyi Rory, Lance and Sean). Also noticed the big bold "NO CAMERAS/RECORDERS" on the tickets. We might need some clarification from MAv about this perhaps?

I managed to get two Floor 1 Row 3 tickets in the centre of the row when the Gold Circle tickets first went on sale!! The farthest away that I am for any of the three Maritime shows is 5th in Halifax. :jump
