IT's about time he did something. Tongue He's been one of the weaker d-men for the Canucks in this series. Of course, Sopel has been by far the weakest, especially in the last two games.

No, it's just that the other defensemen have set a high standard. Willie Mitchell is 10X the defensive d-man that Ohlund is.

And now Linden FINALLY does something! :thumb:

I'm not as hard on the Canucks as Kelly is on Nagy. Big Grin

we'll disagree about Ohlund..although I used to be pretty hard on him...Mitchell is great though...huge pick-up for Nonis...

Even Kraijeck has picked up his play IMO. Salo and Bieksa (other than his penalties) have played very well IMO. Just as I type this, the D lets Ribeiro walk in but Mitchell makes the save! Big Grin

Don't get me wrong, though. I'm still quite happy with Ohlund's play.

Yep the outcome certainly wasn't in question, but I still hate missing the end, especially in a blowout like that when you know there is going to be rought stuff (the only fight though oddly enough was between Sean Avery & Ilya Kovalchuk).
Michael Nylander scored late to complete his hat trick. Nylander & Jagr each had 4 points games, which is great for me in hockey pool. I have 4 Rangers...Jagr, Nylander, Shanny and Cullen, who combined for 10 points tonight!

The Rangers dominated this game from start to finish, they played excellent, but yeah, the Thrashers have been horrible. I honestly haven't noticed Marian Hossa yet in this series, and he has been outplayed badly by his brother Marcel. Kovalchuk & Kozlov were both invisible again tonight, and i felt bad for Kari Lehtonen, the team just hung him out to dry all night long.

the biggest surprise for me?? the play of Bulis..

that line of pyatt, linden, smolinkski looks great..that's why Allan should win Coach of the Year..it wasn't just Lunongo all year long

Guess what? I agree with you about Bulis. He was complete shit for most of the year. He even blocked a shot at the end of the game. I never thought I'd see him go all out like that. Confusedhock:

Props to Salo and Mitchell at the end for clearing a lane making it easy for Luongo to see the shot where he made the glove save. That's just great work in front of the net by them.

What a close series, in that every game is close! GO NUCKS! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :thumb:

Why did they just disallow that goal by Minnesota? That was ridicouls IMO.
