And the Devils go with Clemmensen. And they're being outshot 8-3.

They better not be mailing this in.

Cant believe NJ scored with .9 secs left, that was wild.

Well that sucks. It would have been fun to have the Leafs knock out the Sabres in Round One, and then read all of the excuses. Ah well.

I'd like to nominate Andrew Raycroft for the Alexei Yashin Least Valuable Player Award, given annually to the player who does everything in his power to keep his team out of the playoffs. Of the 42 goalies with at least 27 games played, Raycroft finished an impressive 35th in save percentage. Andrew, I recommend you spend some time with Kiprusoff over the summer and learn the art of not giving up fat juicy rebounds on every shot.

Just for the record, Nick Kypreos is a know nothing jackass.

I thought you said Raycroft was decent because he was putting up wins. If you're talking about Save % and GAA, your favourite goalie, Gerber, beats Raycroft in both categories by a fairly wide margin. Is Raycroft still head and shoulders above Gerber?

If the Laffs didn't blow a 4-1 lead in the 3rd to the Sabres, they'd be in.

I was hoping the Leafs would sneak into the playoffs, but i guess it wasn't meant to be. If the Islanders didn't win that shootout, that would be some tough pill for them to swallow. I still can't believe John Madden scored with 0.9 seconds left in regulation. The first 55 minutes of the game was pretty boring IMO, but the last 10 sure wasn't. The Islanders have their work cut out for them now in the Buffalo Sabres. As good as Doobie (i'm not going to attemp to spell his name) has been the past 5 games, they need Rick DiPietro back to have any kind of run.

So the matchups are all set, predictions?
