Goddamn the Sharks are a good team. Granted the Flames didn't exactly bring their 'A' game tonight and they fully deserve the loss. The 3rd period comeback was a valiant attempt, but it was too little too late. If the Flames don't wrap this up against the Oilers on Saturday, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. If by some horrible circumstance it comes down to Sunday's game in Denver, I have a terrible feeling that the Avs will eat us alive. Colorado is unbeatable right now.

And what a great night for the Canucks to crap the bed in their own barn. Thanks for nothing, Vancouver!

I hear Brodeur will likely get a rest on sunday, advantage Isles. But its still not a gimmie.

Yeah no kidding eh, it was intense. Do you think home ice be an advantage in this series though?

i think it will only be an advantage if it goes 7 games, but we all know the pens are going to sweep Tongue what`s really too bad is that 1 of these teams is going out in the first round

Care to make it interesting, since I was the one that said it was a no-brainer that the pens go out in the first round? And since I'm a sens fan...I'll say the Sens in 6. You can brainstorm the wager Tongue

Islanders leading Philly 3-0, halfway thru the 2nd.

Also, Tim Connolly has scored in his first game back with the Sabres.

He's been the missing piece for Buffalo all season. I think Connolly will definitely be the one to put Buffalo over the top.

Has anyone seen "Captain Clutch" lately? I think he's scored 1 goal in the last 19 or 20 games. I think I saw his face on a milk carton the other day.
