Is there a planning for, or a possible consideration of, a torrent being released with a bunch, if not all of, the past Song of the day songs? I get out to as many shows as I can since the Hip are amazing live, but what to do of old gems from the past that get featured for a day (or weekend)? I'd love to have them in my library.

Just curious if anyone's recording songs of the day or compiling some form of torrent maybe? Because they would probably make my year :mrgreen: .

Since a lot of them appear in Live 10, I doubt that would be kosher.

Thehip.com's webmaster MAv has specifically asked that audio/video posted to the site not be publically shared (ftp/torrent etc.)

I think the plan was to release the Songs of the Day on iTunes, for which there are 40 available now. Hopefully more to follow soon :thumb:

however there are still a whole bunch of the earlier SOTD's not included in Live10 - it might be interesting to consider either putting them in a torrent or finding out if there are any plans to release them
