I always knew about hipbase.com, because I found that while searching general Hip stuff.
BUT, I had no idea that there was a forum until a couple of months after I found the home page...

I think I found this by Lance placing an announcement on the Henhouse mailing list.
And BTW, did anyone notice this thread is actually 4 years old?

In Europe last summer we distributed them at every show
Just out of curiosity - how the did you bring 15,000 flyers overseas - isn't that one big-ass heavy load?
I work in the paper industry (sort of) and paper is damn heavy.

He was very persistent.
Just send him out into the wild & I guarentee he will come back with a couple of hundred new members (although numbed and browbeaten :-))
Still picking up the elderly from the floor, still dealing with the drunks, now wrestling seals and posting it on twitter.. @richardilderton

I only came across this place this past June and I've been a Hip fan since 1994! I checked out alt.music.tragically-hip the odd time though. I was browsing thehip.com and came across just a small line that said something like, "a place to discuss the hip", with the link. Even though this thread is old, if you're looking at attracting more people I'd make that line in thehip.com much more noticeable.
