Hello, everybody. I think I'm going to slightly regret sharing this information, but I just got off the phone with the Erie County Civic Center and they are selling tickets to the show over the phone, and best of all, their handling charge is only 2 bucks per ticket without the Ticketbastard charges! Visa/MC and Discover accepted only, I believe.

I posted this so people could avoid the Ticketbastard charges. Through the theater box office is only 33.50 plus whatever state tax versus 31.50 and all the ridiculous Ticketmaster "convenience" charges.

This one isn't GA is it? Can you get tickets to be in the pit or are they all theatre seating. I made the "mistake" of taking my fiance to a show and standing front row and now she wants MORE MORE MORE but she's all like "can we be in front again..PLEASE" and her eyes are hard to resist so tell me what to expect.

no GA.... all reserved. There isn't a bad seat in the house... it is small (2200) but very well constructed. You have no chance at front row. I was at the box office getting tickets and the best seats left were 20 rows back.

Best I could get was 10 rows back...but I think I'm going to save the money from this show since the weekend after is my wedding. I'm thinking of going to another show at a venue that isn't going to be so quick to sell out. Maybe Northern Lights or something.

I bought three tix (one single and one pair) through the box office this morning about 10:07, but after I gave her my credit card, she said you're all set, we'll send you the tix, but she hung up and I didn't get a confirmation number! And I have no idea where the seats are! Am I screwed?!

I called back and the person said they don't give out confirmation numbers, and they don't know where the seats are, they just take the order info, someone else processes it, then sends the tickets out that day, so I should get my tix Monday (I'll repost and let you all know how good of seats I got this way.)
I studied the seating chart and it looks like the Orchestra Pit is Sec A, and they just start with row B for the seats, so it seems like you're second row, smack dab in the middle. Good job! Ticketmaster had a Pit section option (which was closed out already when I tried it), which I'm assuming is a small amount for GA, aka mosh pit. Why anyone would want to mosh at Hip shows is unknown to me!
that sounds like it is 3 rows back, but looking at the seating plan, they have a section B?? Any clue how far back I am?
