For the longest time it was Fireworks because that was the song that solidified my interest in the Hip.
But now the one that means the most to me is It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken
Whenever I feel weak or sad, or just down right pissed off, I listen to that song then when it's over I feel a lot more relaxed.
Basically the way I interpret it is, it is completely natural for humans to become weak, usually in the form of doing something stupid whether it's intentional or not. It is our responsibility to learn from it and grow into a slightly better person because of that bad experience
This one girl I had a super huge crush on, she just got a boyfriend just when she was within my grasp. I was devastated when the reality of it kicked in that I wouldn't be able to spend the rest of my life with her, I started feeling like shit, and thinking to myself I'm probably just going to have to settle for someone just for the sake of having a girlfriend. I was pissed, because I want someone I can be proud of being with. So I continued with those thoughts and it just made me feel even worse for myself, and I was on the verge of having a nervous breakdown.(This was when I was at work). So I went to my car to be by myself then I put the song on and listened to it a couple times, by the time I went back into the restaurant(Harvey's) I was thinking to myself. I'm not going to let myself get week just because some girl doesn't want to go out with me. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I should be starting to look for someone else...and I did.
This recent defeat was so hard for me because I actually had feelings for her. Most of the time I find myself going after girls because I want to bang them.
Anyways, sorry about rambling, but IAGLIYDW is my favorite, because it means the most to me, it's my, "make me feel better" song.

I say Membership! The first time I heard that song my jaw hit the floor. That's closely followed by Locked In The Trunk Of A Car and Music At Work ... or Nautical Disaster? It's just too hard to chose!
