how come? I think they'll be playing a shit load of new stuff, they're prawly itchin to play the new stuff I'd say...I think you won't regret hearing how good its gonna sound :thumb: Have a great time tonite :jump

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

have you heard any of there new tracks

I dont mind hearing new stuff, but at the same time its great to hear some classics that dont get played to often like Opiated, Another Midnight or even a sweet version of tiger the lion (which i dont has been played since the M@W tour could be wrong though)

Either way I will be happy and the show will the rock

The venue is the best venue in Canada, best part of the venue is that you can see the stage from anywere there and you can reach a beer with no line worries from anywhere in the bar, and the floor bounces!

Should be awesome cant wait

Nope, can't say I've heard a wiff of the new stuff, I'd put money on them not playing midnite, possibly Opiated, tiger maybe but prawly not, but who knows what goes on in Gord S's mind when he's sitting there writing one of those puppys up, I was so close to getting tix and flying down and seeing the show, sounds like a wicked place to see a gig....

Too bad about them never playing midnight

Songs I would love to hear tonight

Hundred with a blonde solid jam in the middle
Get Back again (always on the list but never played)
Opiated
Last of the unplucked gem (think it woudl be sweet to hear everyone screaming the lyrics inside the bar)
Stay

Any of those would be sweet

I still think they are going to bring back radio show or blonde solid for an album one day

My most wanted for tonight, even though I know most aren't going to happen:

Another Midnight
Scared
Last American Exit
Long Time Running
Locked in the Trunk of a car
Three Pistols

All New Songs!!!!!!! Out with the old, in with the new...that's what I say. When I say old, I mean NOIS, and all the hits that I've seen way to many times. I wanna see songs that they're not comfortable playing...that's what makes a show exciting for me. Improvised jams would be nice too...liek the one they did in Saskatoon last time they played here. Made me go insane. Does anybody know if they played that jam anywhere else in the tour?

Bring some oldies with a new twist like how they play boots of hearts now

It would be nice to hear a NOIS reprise into a new tune into a Gord rant

Or how about a 50 mission cap I have never heard that tune outside of Toronto

Do you think we might get any covers

Would be nice to hear a boy named sue or some more Dylan tunes

They seem to be playing more covers more and more

Huh? Gord throws in the odd cover during his solo tours, but other than reciting a couple of lines from other songs once in awhile, when was the last time they did a true cover?

My guess is that since the new album is still in production they will intertwine new songs into old ones...here's hoping anyway

So this constitutes "more and more"? One show with two covers?

With their back catalogue, and the number of songs they have in the pipeline with the new album, I have no desire to hear any covers.

I think they play what they want to play, not necessarily what we want to hear.
We are their guests, given permission to listen. Smile
