That was a joke. I just got off the phone with tickets.com. Fri. and Sat. in Buffalo are sold out. Although she did say that they don't like to say "sold out". She said to keep phoning back periodically today as some may come available.

Got 2 for Sat. This place is really small. Sometimes they wll let anybody into the front bar area and just check tickets at the back entrance to the club.

I was shut out as well - trying to get tix for someone who could not get online at noon.
What a joke tickets.com was. I tried on the site 50 times to get the tix. I'd select 2 and go to the next screen - which has you enter in an 8 digit code, and then I would get a message that said someting like "Due to high transaction volume... try again".
I was never able to get to an order screen. The last few tries it said to 'select fewer tickets'. And now some dork has 6 sets up on eBay for $400. Nice.
What a bummer.

both my wife and i had tix in hand on the tickets.com site, but after all our data was put in, there was no submit button. this happened to both of us on different PCs.

I hear what you are saying. I live in Rochester area and I got the Rochester tix and then I thought...against the wishes of the soon to be wife...I'm going to make it a triple header since I have a friend that lives in Buffalo and I'll go to all three shows and get bombed with my buddy Friday and then leave after the show Saturday. Needless to say it was 12:20 or something by the time I got into Tickets.com and they were sold out. You know full well that the boys knew what they were doing...playing a club show in Buffalo is going to be awesome. But I'm really looking forward to my Harro East show. Hope they're will be tapers there....last show I saw never got taped and I really wish I had it.

I got mine at Tops and we didn't have a problem unless you count that only the first 3 people got tickets. I only asked for the Friday show trying to spread the love and let other people behind me not get shut out. Other locations though it was rough, a friend of mine got shut out at the Tops on Portage in Niagara Falls. My biggest pet peeve of all this is why not have an internet sale only from the website then the fans could have gotten more tix instead of the ticket listers(hopefully not sellers) on ebay. Glad I got mine but I feel the pain of those who didn't. Lets hope for Fiddlers on Friday, don't make me beg.

The Horrible Esthete Wrote:theAryanTwang Wrote:Anybody else try getting tickets to the Detroit show yet? I was hoping to get reserved seating on the mezzanine level but all ticket master would return was main floor general admission, even when I specifically searched for mezzanine.
I'm not complaining, I just find it weird that no tickets were available for the mezzanine nor the balcony level.
There are tix available in the Loge & Lower and upper balconies. But it looks like the Mezzanine is sold out.....
Something was definitely wrong with their systems. Between 10:00 and 10:05 when I said screw it and bought main floor tix (which
aren't GA, btw) NOTHING but main floor was available. Even searching a single ticket on the mezzanine or balcony returned a "none available" message.
I was trying to call at the same time and the phone lines were empty...literally; no rining, busy signal, clicks, static, nothing.
I immediately called Ticket Bastard and demanded some sort of concession for their inadequate systems. Had the fist guy unable to help me transfer me to his supervisor and when he boldly suggested that I just didn't know how to dial a phone or click a friggin' icon I went ballistic and demanded
his supervisor.
I still didn't get the mezzanine seats I wanted but douche-bag supervisor's more competent supervisor offered to waive all Ticket Bastard fees and credited my Visa back $21.00.
Along the way, the competent supervisor admitted that they may have underestimated the demand and were unprepared for the call-volume. He said it may have been th case for the Website too, if everyone was looking for mezzanine seats.
Damned ticket bastards!
