I had front row tickets for this show and had to sell them cause we had already organized a huge party in Quebec city that weekend. My wife made me realize that after I was jumpin' off the walls.

there's a contest on the Scotiabank Place website for a pair of tickets:

you can also redeem some iCoke points (if you have any) for a pir of tickets as well:

Can't wait... this will be my 10th Hip show...

Here's hoping they play Queen Bitch as their cover, I've always loved that song.

Also hoping to see Fiddler's, Verge, ABC and Wheat Kings, which amazingly enough I've never seen live through 9 shows.

It'll also be my wife's 3rd Hip show... she's converted!

Newbie here. Going to the show in Ottawa tomorrow. Anyone know if they are letting cameras in the door? I'm 2nd row on the floor and would like to get a few pics since I'm that close.
Cheers

As long as it doesn't look professional, and isn't bigger than your head, you'll be fine.

Go early, don't be a jerk to security if they wanna check out your gear, and have fun!

Show #3 of 4 for me. Such a stupid, stupid idea, hitting this concert...but when you combine it with the Leafs/Sens game on Saturday and the Super Bowl on Sunday, it's suddenly a stupid, stupid idea not to go. Wink

Anyway...how 'bout "Brand New Cadillac" by the Clash? Gord-o could nail that one.

Thanks Chris, we're planning on going an hour or so before the opening act, just to get a shirt, enjoy the whole scene. Haven't been to a Hip show since 98 in Saint John. My brother took the train up from NB for the show and the SuperBowl. Can't wait. I just have a regular old Canon digicam. Getting pumped, 24 hours from now.

I just got a call from a couple of friends who are at the show, but couldn't make out what the cover tune was.... Sad

Or maybe they are just taunting me.
