Hey Folks!

I was just on Ron's official forum (where he posts regularly), and it looks like his new solo disc is in the can, and he's in the process of figuring out when it's gonna come out. Originally it was going to be September, but the release date is still up in the air at the moment. But he's assured everyone that it WILL be released in the near future. I absolutely loved his first solo album, as well as his work with the Rusty Nails. I can't wait to hear what he's got in store for us on the new one. Personally I think he's one of the best and most underrated songwriters this country has ever produced.

I concur. I just saw the Low in Buffalo this past weekend and they were amazing!

Did you hear the Rochester acoustic show by the Revue that was on the tracker. Lots of new songs on there. I read those postings on his boards too. Good to know it will come out, sucks that it is delayed though. On the Low forum, Stephen Stanley says it is Ron's best work.

The Low sounded real tight this past weekend in Buffalo. They pulled out one of Ron's new tunes 1-800-Radio and the rare Crying Like a Postcard (which I need to get on mp3 if anyone has the demo version that used to be up on their site).

Ron and Steve Stanley are playing a show at Graffitis in Toronto in a couple weeks. Just the two of them and a cello player, doing songs from both their solo catalogues and Low songs....Should be amazing!

Agreed...definitely one of the best songwriters around. New solo disc is around the corner!

Yup. In a recent post on his official fan forum, Ron mentioned that the album will likely be out in the spring. Right now he's concentrating on his upcoming art show in Toronto, and once that's done he'll let us know more details on the new record. I can't wait!
