There's just something about her and that's about it
Maybe she don't love you okay, go in,
Introduce yerself and be ready to leave in an hour

“This is my solo record. Each song is about a person.”
Gord Downie announces Introduce Yerself,a double-album of twenty-three new songs.
The music was recorded swiftly over two four-day sessions in January 2016 and February 2017, with the final album often reflecting first takes.
Introduce Yerself continues the collaborative relationship that last year brought the music of Downie’s historic Secret Path to life, with Drew producing the album and co-writing a number of the new songs.

This will be one of GD's few solo efforts to top the charts, regardless of content.
That it's a double album speaks to the urgency behind Gord's work now.
In any case, great news. :thumb:

Holy smokes! What a wonderful surprise on an otherwise boring Wednesday morning. And only a month away? Even better.
