Total speculation on my part ... but it's worth noting the "at this point" part of the reply you got. They'd be sabotaging the auction if they said today that you could buy non-game-worn jerseys at a later date. But given the detail/effort that's gone into that design, I'm hoping they'll hold the auction, raise a ton of money, then announce that they'll be selling replicas -- and raise even more money for a great cause. Either way, great effort by the Frontenacs. :thumb:

Looks like only the players jerseys will be auctioned off. I am surprised they wouldn't jump at the chance to auction off one for Dougie Gilmour. I don't see a number 93 on the team... That baby would fetch a pretty penny, since all the jerseys are signed by the person wearing them..

Or even auction one off with the entire teams signatures (plus management)...anything with DG's signature would fetch much more than the players..

Personally I have no desire for a random jr players autograph. Or someone like Doug who signs all the time. A blank unsigned would be far more appealing to me than the name/number of someone else.
