Hey all, I just saw that much music is airing hip related shows all day Saturday starting at 6am until 4 pm. They seem to be one hour specials called " hip on much". My pvr is set.

Add "Full Fledged Vanity" to that list. We need something better than the 2p version on Youtube, That's got to be hiding in a vault at CBC somewhere.

I'd love to see all of those specials remastered and released as part of a future box set. Something like the "R.E.M. By MTV" set that came out a couple years ago would be super cool. I'm sure Muchmusic and CBC still have the original masters for all that stuff in their vaults.

Much Music played a big role in my formative Hip years, from tuning in to the Friday night Top 30 Countdown and rooting for Nautical to spend another week at number one, to watching the Hip's Egos and Icons for the 100th time. In the days of the embryonic internet seeing a Hip video debut on Much was, for me, a close second in excitement level to buying the new album on release day. I don't know if I'll see anything I haven't seen before during this broadcast but I've definitely got the DVR set.

So far it appears to be all of their music videos in sort of chronological order with interview clips throughout. Very cool. Don't think I ever saw the vaccination scar video until today.
