Security pulled us out 45 minutes before the end of the show. Didn't like the USB wires coming out if my nap sac and into a "suspicious device". No kidding there was five of them giving us a full inspection by the side boards. Safety first I guess but that seemed excessive. Let us back to our seats but it killed the scope. Another baser should have most of the footage in HD.

Many years ago in a conversation with my son's grade 4 teacher we debated the merits and troughs of capturing moments in pictures and videos. The context was a class performance of Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer. She argued it's the little things you miss, and so you should take in the moments with as little distraction as possible. Since then we haven't taken many photos of the kids, embracing the antithesis of the selfie phenom.
Mia and I decided to brake away from this notion for these few shows, don't know why exactly. Maybe an attempt to keep something from disappearing. The plan was to get close, don't speak, try not to move, and not get in the way of anyone. We knew there was a good chance all of this would eventually come out in high def\sound, but convinced ourselves the value of the here and now was worth it.
We come out of it with mixed feelings but no regrets.
Cheers Hipbase
