I can set it up on hipfans.com for you if you want. You still manage it, upload, edit, etc...

Thanks for the offer, but I'm going to keep it to my tabs.

I was actually finished the majority of Phantom Power earlier tonight. Here's my version of Membership

FINE!!!!!!!!!!
Actually I could use some help on Poets. The chorus is tough for me for some reason. The solo in Poets is awesome.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'm gonna stay indy on this one. Maybe once it's done I can send it your way, but for now I don't mind having it at Geocities.

I thought it went without saying, but I will anyways - you're welcome to take anything I post on that site and use it on hipfans.com . I just finished posting Phantom Power and I didn't recycle anything. I have a new version of Escape that actually has something to play during the verse other than jamming on an E for a couple minutes. It varies, but it sounds pretty tight.

I thought I saw the solo for Poets tabbed somewhere on the internet before. I could be wrong, but I remember learning that note-for-note back in the day.

What problems are you having with the chorus?

I could help help on "Daddy" at the 1:13 mark which I think is the chorus.
Are those double stops? Also is it an open tuning as well?

I don't know what you mean by "double stops". Good timing though, I actually just posted Daddy before I checked the forum. Here ya go:

I think this is the part Im thinking about

Code:
|---------------|---------------|
|---------------|---------------|
|---------------|-------0--0--0-|
|----8-10--8\-5-|-0---0-0--0--0-|
|----8-10--8\-5-|-5---5-----5---|
|----6--8--6\-3-|-3---3-----3---|

|---------------|-------0--0--0-|
|----8-10--8\-5-|-0---0-0--0--0-|
|----8-10--8\-5-|-5---5-----5---|
|----6--8--6\-3-|-3---3-----3---|

It's kinda difficult to explain without a guitar, but here we go:

The first bar of chords (Bb, C, Bb, G), each chord on a cymbal. Then the lyrics come in on the second bar. Repeat until chorus is done.

Code:
Don't...                        Wake...
|---------------|---------------|---------------|---------------|
|---------------|---------------|---------------|---------------|
|---------------|-------0--0--0-|---------------|-------0--0--0-|
|----8-10--8\-5-|-0---0-0--0--0-|----8-10--8\-5-|-0---0-0--0--0-|
|----8-10--8\-5-|-5---5-----5---|----8-10--8\-5-|-5---5-----5---|
|----6--8--6\-3-|-3---3-----3---|----6--8--6\-3-|-3---3-----3---|

When I play it by myself, I play the other guitar part, but I strum out the G7 second bar. It would be something like this:

Code:
|-cymbals-|  Don't...
|---------------|---------------|
|---------------|-6-------------|
|---------------|-0----0----0---|
|---------------|-0----0----0---|
|----1--3-------|-X-------------|
|-3--------1--3-|-3--3----3---1-|

I hope that helps. If you have any more questions, just let me know

Well, one guitar is playing a Bb5 chord and the other is playing an F note. At least that's the way I here it.

PS: Thanks

Im sure you're right, but how do you hear that? You're good! keep up the god work. Love Daddy so glad you did that. But ABAC is the best one you've done that Ive seen. You took an open tuning (which I HATE) and made it playable. Thanks! I love drop D and not because its easy, but because its darker.

There should be a tab for the whole solo for poets on the hipfans site. I tabbed it so it should be there...

Nice work there Steve. Your tabs are consistently great. I know why you don't like doing solos, they take alot of time and i'm not sure if anybody ever actually uses them!

Great site, great tabs. I only wish I was more advanced as a guitar player and could play them. Big Grin
