I'm actually kind of amazed nothing has come out of the Hip camp regarding these shows.

I'm confused. What are you expecting to leak before the tour starts? The band has probably been rehearsing at home and flew out, or will fly out, some time this week to Victoria.

I thought something from the camp about what theyve been working on, gord's health..or things like the stage set up as was mentioned above...i dunno, some insider stuff...most bands before they tour have leaks about the process leading up to the first show...not thinking it would be anything major...just, well, anything

There may be some teasers as the end of the week draws near. They did say during the press conference with his doctor that there would be no further updates from the band about Gord's health.

im just heading to the first Toronto show...paid extra for it, but was a fan of the Hip from pretty much the start a d really wanted to be there..

I am only going to one show, Edmonton night one, July 28th. Tempted to stick around for night 2, but have a family function to attend back in Yellowknife. Driving 15 hours each way to see the show. Rockin' to the Hip all the way!

Ive noticed a drastic drop in floor seats, specifically 1st row for the 26th.
Do you think the fact that the stage is circle has anything to do with this?
Perhaps the shape of the stage is changing viewing value of end seats on floor?
Unless the rows will follow the shape of the stage.
I was considering trading up.

Walked by the Arena in Vic today. Five big trucks parked outside. On the side was written "the show must go on".
