Just realized that my link didn't work, it was supposed to be JP Cormier doing "nautical disaster" as well.

Not a live tribute but they played 50 Mission Cap In between innings of a Red Sox vs Blue Jays game in Boston.

Not a live tribute song, but Billy talent opened for Guns n Roses last night at Rogers centre and the lead singer Ben Kowalewicz made mention of Gord Downie and his illness and to keep supporting him ( or something along those lines). It seemed really sincere and I must say, I wasn't expecting to hear about Gord at a G n R concert.

I heard city and colour do bobcaygeon last night. I say this as someone who doesn't enjoy their/his work...I didn't like it at all. Appreciate the sentiment, but...blah.
