Machine is absolutely flawless. Easily the best Hip song I've heard in a long time. Robby's beautiful, understated guitar solo just after the instrumental break is just so f'n perfect, and Gord's lyrics and singing are fantastic. I can't get enough!

I voted Here, in the Dark. the metaphor of a "winter mind" is absolutely perfect. And I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but it bears mentioning, Gord Sinclair's bass riff on this song is incredible. This song is going to be so damn fun to see played live.

Great Soul and Man are close seconds for me. Both are instant classics in my books.

Sticking with the first single, In a World Possessed by the Human Mind, if that is allowed. Man and Hot Mic are catching me early as well.

i voted without hearing the whole album. the fact that I wanted to hear MAN 4 times in a row, is a solid sign tho. incredible opener.

After the first 4 listens, it's Man. Time will tell what I'll think after the next 4, or 104, listens.

Glad to see Tired as Fuck is still oh-fer. Although it no longer is as bad as originally thought, in context. Possessed is a standout in context; like a shot of cortisone after Man weirds you right out.

Machine, without a doubt. I put that song on repeat last night and listened to it over and over. It's far and away my favourite track of the album. If the Kingston show really is their last, ending it with Machine would be ok in my books.

I'm with 'Machine' for sure. Just a great cut. I'd like to see it switch places with 'Man' in the track listing, actually - kicking the album off with its most killer track can really help to frame how a record is received. (I swear, the mighty 'Goodnight Attawapiskat' is so egregiously underrated because it's buried way back at the end of a somewhat unloved album - but not unloved by me!).

I still think "In Sarnia" is the best song on the album.

But Man and Machine are just as amazing. and they sound perfect together played back to back, as they were originally conceived. I've tried reconfiguring the tracklist for this but its been a frustrating experience. This is the best I could come up with.
