#46

Got lucky in the presales but had ZERO luck trying for my friends today for Vancouver and Victoria.

The BOTS win.

12 years. Have been able to buy tickets to any show I've wanted to get to.

My #1 hobby, and zero tickets for this tour.

Fuck. Fuckfuckfuck

fucking disgraceful
On the one hand I agree but on the other hand, there should be 12,000 seats for Edmonton at least. If there are only 231 on stubhub, and nobody here got any, where are all the tickets? TM could be holding back a lot of tickets.

Where did all the CCE seats go? For Kingston, StubHub has nothing posted for all 3 front sections of floors or the closest stand sections.

What about the band webcasting the entire tour and all proceeds to go charity? Then we can all watch....

Never been shutout completely before. Through the pre-sales and today I only had one set of tickets become available the entire time and did not jump on them as they appeared to be behind the stage in the 300s... regretting that now.

Search Again button, not a bot, hours of time.... :nooooo and only one option popped up once!

A couple of fair fixes-

It's possible they are releasing tickets in small quantities, my guess is based on the extremely few fans here getting tickets, and the relatively few that have so far appeared on stub hub.

A higher % of tickets, the lower bowl and floor, should be cc entry. This is time consuming and costly for the venues, but it could have been built into the price

My very unpopular suggestion, tix should be priced more on line with demand. $126 for floor and lowers in CAD $?? Here in NYC we haven't seen prices like that for premium shows in 15 years. That like $90 US. Most shows now are $250++ for high demand floor and lowers, not including platinum. $126 makes it way too easy for the resellers to profit. So perhaps they were out in full force this am.

More popular idea...much better than the cluster..fk that would be caused by a ticket cancellation and redo. The Hip could add a low cost, say $30 festival show for 8-26-16 in eastern part of country that got completely shut out of the tour. 200-300k fans, we all get to see The Hip one more time!

8-3-00 Wantagh, NY
10-6-00 Town Hall NYC

9-22-04 Webster Hall NYC
4-24-07 Irving Plaza NYC
10-23-07 Manhattan Center NYC
8-18-16 CTC Ottawa, ON

If nobody got tickets and the scalpers got the majority of them, and nobody buys the scalped tickets, what kind of show is the Kingston show going to be? About 50 people with business suits on?

My bad - I missed "floor" in the original message. That is a lot.

I got a single for Sunday in Toronto during the public on-sale at 10:08am. It's far from the stage, section 103 row 28. I was trying for pairs on my computer but was able to get the single through the Ticketmaster app on my phone. Got nothing during the pre-sales. All around this was my worst ticket buying experience but I consider myself lucky to be in the building. Heck getting tickets to their Kee to Bala show in 07 was easier.
