The recent news has brought out macabre sentiments in friends and media who only seem to want to quote songs from Trouble At The Henhouse or earlier.

Thought I would organize a thread of 10-track "introduction" albums to share with those who heard the news and are curious to explore this great discography.

There's no criteria or formula, maybe some sort of mix of new and old.

Just an idea of what to recommend to friends and family in the coming weeks as interest peaks toward the live shows.

I actually made a mix for an American friend who lives across the continent and who is a big music fan. It has 16 tracks, though. I was very happy with the mix and he was impressed - especially by the first two tracks, which absolutely should be on any Hip compilation. Here it is. Cheating, I know.

I was attempting to create a list, but I think it would end up nearly identical to this. I would probably just swap out In a World Possessed for Escape is at Hand, and maybe At Transformation for Courage. Otherwise, :thumb: (I even like the track order, you have to open with Grace Too)

10 songs is tough. My first instinct was to pick a song from each album, but that's too many tunes. So, I've tried to put together a list that showcases the Hip through the years - different albums, and different sounds. These aren't necessarily my top 10 Hip songs, but it's probably not too far off:
