It leaked today. About half way through my first listen, sounds pretty good.

I'm really diggin' the new album. I think it's a better record than New Inheritors. But it's still not quite on par with their undisputed masterpiece Welcome to the Night Sky, which in my opinion is one of the best rock albums of the last decade.

Really?
I think the true Wintersleep masterpiece is their second album (untitled).
I dispute your claim.
I even think their first album is better than Welcome to the Night Sky.

Does Paul Murphy just repeat the title of the song for choruses on Hello Hum? I don't mind 'Oblivion', but I thought that method was wayyy overdone on New Inheritors. I love multiple songs on the first three Wintersleep albums, but I can only say that I love 'Trace Decay' from New Inheritors. I'm definetly interested in checking out the new album at some point.

I listened twice and don't remember a single song aside from In Came The Flood, which I'd already heard a bunch. Ah well.

It's a grower I think, I didn't much care for the first listen, but I'm beginning to get into the album now, still no tracks leaping out iondividually though!

'Smoke's is my favourite thus far. Can already tell I like it more than New Inheritors

Yeah, I've warmed up to it quite a bit. Permanent Sigh and Zones are both pretty great.

I saw Wintersleep on Monday night supporting Frightened Rabbit, it was a really good set from them, I think being in the support slot and only having 30 minutes forces them to play a little tighter.

I went for a curry with Tim & Loel before the gig as well and did a short interview that I'll be wroting up tomorrow. It was nice to chat about music with them and then talk hockey (especially as Loel hadn't seen the Leafs result two nights earlier).

I sadly missed them the last couple of times they rolled through London. I'm gutted! It's been way too long.
