Non Fully Songs
#1

Has the mix up had anyone else almost dying for this tour to end so we could potentially get some regular shows with such great variety? I especially love that Phantom Power and World Container (two of my favorites) have been so well represented on this tour.

I have said many times that the biggest downer of the album concept, for me, is knowing what is coming next. The non album variety really has me anxious for a regular tour with this sort of potential. It brings me back to the Summer Fling tour prior to World Container, which is still my favorite string of shows.

Anyone else feeling a similar way?

Not at all! I loved the FC show I was at, and I don't understand all the negativity on the boards regarding it. People have been asking for something like this for a while, and now they complain about it? I can understand if an album show isn't your thing, but the show in Victoria was great, and I appreciated it for what it was - a one-off show celebrating a great album, the likes of which (concert, not album) I most likely won't get to experience again.

Knowing that you're going to hear lots of rare songs is awesome. I get the whole "you never know what your going to get" idea - the Rochester 2012 show was a mind-bender for me, I had no idea what to expect - but this is a one time tour and should be enjoyed as such.

Gord is singing great, they are playing lots of rare tunes, how can I be anything but happy? That being said, I am excited for "normal" shows to return. I'd love for them to dig deep into M@W and IBE (along with No Threat, and Impossibilium, my top two songs I've never heard) on their next tour!

Nope. I'm only seeing one show on this tour, and the idea of getting (at least) four songs I've never seen, is pretty damn cool.

And maybe it's because I saw so many shows on that run, but world container being "well-represented" by in view, rink and the kids don't get it is...well, 2 songs too many. If I never hear in view again, it'll still be too soon.

I was kind of on the same boat regarding In View, but they did change it up a bit in Victoria, which was cool. At least they were trying to do something new with it.

I saw them about 8 times on the WC tour, and have heard that album in full, so when they play songs from it, it's not such a big deal to me. However, regardless of my personal opinion of some songs, they are at least changing things up for the setlists, which is always exciting.
