I don't remember ever seeing Pearl Jam or Phish tickets on Groupon. The ticket sales in Canada speak for themselves. If The Hip want to play arenas, they need to cut their ticket prices.

No, if the Hip want to SELL OUT arenas, they need to cut their ticket prices. But maybe playing the arena with it only 75% full makes more sense than a venue that's only half that size? (cuz lord knows how much bitching there were be on here if they charged 2x the current prices to play a smaller venue).

The Hip have been playing shows about 2 hours long for the last 10 years. They come on at 9 and leave the stage at 11... ok, admittedly, the current shows look to be about 10 minutes shorter than that, but anyways, you knew what you were getting when you bought tickets. You know how much they cost... it's up to you now to figure out if it's worth it or not. Looks like a fair amount of people are considering it worth it, based on the sold out Windsor show I saw on Saturday, and how much of the ACC looks to be sold.
