PureHMV Paul Langlois Concert Experience
#1

Hey now....I just won HMV's Paul Langlois concert experience!

Grand Prize:

A Yamaha acoustic guitar autographed by Paul
A copy of Not Guilty also autographed
2 tickets to one of his shows (I selected the Horseshoe next Thursday)
and a meet/greet with Paul after the show!

I didn't have tickets to any of his shows this tour, so extremely excited about this!

This means I also might be able to test out my new Naiant mics......

Cool - nice knowing someone who won!
I read this fast and then tried to see where to enter.
Then I re-read the top line that you actually won.
I need a new guitar - lucky man.

A terrific show and a fun night all around! Paul was gracious, and I was blown away by the guitar, and his signature!

Yay Scott, that's awesome! Are you going to display the guitar? If so, how? I'm always curious, because I have an acoustic sitting in a hard case in the basement (I tried, but I have zero musical talent) and would really prefer to have it on show.

Hi Sarah, I wanted to come over at the Horseshoe to say hi, but I didn't want to leave my recording spot by the post. It turns out I probably should have left my spot has I had the "chatty office group out for a night and not interested in the show" right in front of me for most of the evening Sad

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the guitar. I don't want it to sit in the case in my basement office for years, but I'm not sure the best method for displaying it. Maybe some sort of stand (http://www.houzz.com/guitar-display-stand) would work.

Then again, Paul said to rock it......

Just hang it on the wall, then if you or anyone else wants to "rock it" then all they have to do is grab it.

I will give you five whole dollars for that D-28 you have hanging there, I'll even make sure is a crisp new bill!!

Haven't broke down to purchase a D-28 yet, been dying too for the past 10 years. I currently have a D-16 which is an excellent model, but still not the D-28.

Beautiful collection you got there! The one above the amp, almost looks like its a Crook Custom Paisley Tele??
