2013 Dates

Your order number is: 397118

I went for Kingston first. I assumed the Toronto show would have the highest fan/scalper demand and I could potentailly be paying $20 more per ticket to sit in the 15th row vs guaranteed first 8 rows for Ktown.

Having doubts if I want to go for the ACC show now, if I pull crappy seats or decide not to go I think it could be a tough resell with the price + it being valentines day.

One plus side about not having ticket row/seat made available at purchase is that it could discourage scalpers a bit. Hopefully that is the case

ok 4O min.s later, a Pair for ACC for the heck of it. The rest I am waiting to get tickets in other ways.

The days of $49 tickets are long gone, albums sales are down, the bands crowd is older and in the day of supply and demand it was inevitable that their tickets ended up in this price range. The argument of tiered pricing is out there and short shows, but the band still does free shows, charity shows and surprise shows so there is still opportunity there for those on the hunt. Would be nice for them to dig into a 23-25 song show for the Canadian portion anyways. Not asking for 3O nor do I think 19 is fair either... Wanna charge us over $1OO? Supply the 24 song setlist and use the prompter if you need to and bring back some gems

After an hour I finally got four together for Toronto... With my wedding coming up I couldnt justify price level 1, so I'll be up in section 300... Oh well, should still be a great show! It will be my fiancee's first show (besides the Kensington mini-set), so it will be fun to share my favourite band with her!

Good luck, and lots of patience, to everyone still trying to get tickets!

Price Level 1 for Guelph must be sold out - that just got kicked out of my cart.

Apparently not. I paid $35 for row 8 seats to see the Hip in Fargo, ND in a venue that holds 850 people for this same tour... now I'm paying $100+/seat to see them in a 15,000 seat venue at home. It doesn't make sense to me. The fargo show is 2 hrs south of the Canada/US border and will no doubt be 95% canadian fans who made the trip.

I'm sure Price Level 1 will be available for that show again for the public on sale.

What section did you get?

Guelph sells out first. Who knew?

Well that was a gong show...

Secured two tickets to the Brandon concert. I'm from Winnipeg, but I figure paying $100 per ticket, plus gas and driving two hours each way during a possible blizzard is more justified than $140 per ticket, such as is the case for the Winnipeg show. I'm hitting up the Fargo show in December anyway, so maybe I'll try and win tickets to the Winnipeg show.

9 Hip shows in 6 different venues

University town. Lots of Hip fans and close enough for the people in the burbs to Toronto to travel for a Friday night! If I had to guess, I would have guessed Guelph would sell out!

I live in Milton. Toronto has become a mess to try to get in/out of on a weekday. Guelph is an easy drive for anyone in Mississauga/Brampton/Hamilton/Burlington/KW/Milton. Plus it's a bit of a smaller venue, albeit still an arena. I saw this coming!

I was at the last Hip concert in Brandon (from Winnipeg) driving through a snow and ice storm..lol. had to overnight there so it was not cheaper that night. Crowd was quite dead though compared to the always loud Peg crowd.
