I'll be surprised if this thing actually sees the light of day. Most likely it'll disappear or fall by the wayside along with the Hip Club, the Live from the Vault series, and that mythical rarities/b-sides album. I'm still holding out hope for those rumored deluxe reissues though. A remixed and remastered Fully Completely would be amazing.

A few weeks ago, Johnny Fay was interviewed on Rock 95 in Barrie and they asked him about the concert in Bobcaygeon last summer. He talked about how cool it was to play there and how they made a movie there and that he thought it was to come out in the Fall.

This topic is a really strange one in my opinion. I believe many shows on the 09 tour were filmed professionally as were all of last summers shows (including the Bob C show) and the other "special" shows this year. With all of this terrific footage, what is stopping the band from doing an awesome roc-doc or another nice box set? I know the Hip are a band who is usually thinking NEW material and new ways to keep themselves fresh but I truly believe this would be the time in their career to give old fans what they crave and create new ones by giving a visual retrospect of their career. An awesome storyline every bit as good as Rush or Pearl Jam. The Tragically Hip are unique and should be given their due in this regard....Or maybe I am simply being wishful.

I have heard from a reliable source who talked to a big wig and the info is that this WILL be released in NOVEMBER.
