Excellent album! Not sure yet if I like it as much as Jackson Square. Only time will tell. I need to absorb it for a few weeks and let it seep in some more.

I've had it for awhile, and I don't think it holds a candle to Jackson Square. Leans a little on the poppy side and without "Country Boy," a strong, emotional track they'd been playing live all year, I can't see this one doing it for me.

Arkells were featured on CBC Radio's R3 30 chat last week: http://radio3.cbc.ca/#/podcasts/CBC-Rad ... -Chart-266

Love this album. Not quite as solid as Jackson Square, but will be in the rotation for a long long time. Nice follow up effort. It only took 5 years!! Really sucks not to be able to buy on iTunes US. For now, I have just been streaming on SoundCloud.

What is with the iTunes US/Canada restrictions?? Does it cost a band that much more $ to have it released on both? I hate how I cannot buy this album. It isn't in stores down here in Buffalo either. Same thing happened with the new Sam Roberts iTunes session from Montreal. C'mon already!

This album is incredible. It has grown on me so much over these weeks. I think when all is said and done, there is a chance that this will be my favourite release from 2011.

I listened to this album in the car yesterday for the first time in a couple of months, and it's still awesome.

Thought I'd post this here. I'm looking for a purple vinyl copy of Jackson Square. If anyone's got one, let me know. I'm trying to surprise the missus for her birthday. I'd be willing to buy it and throw in a signed copy of the Whistleblower 7" if anyone's interested?

Thanks all!
