New O
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

It'd be cool if they released a soundboard recording of this to iTunes (obviously would have to be after the new album is released) and sent most/all of the profits to the community.

Props to the band and team for hauling their asses up to James Bay to share with native peoples something that is typically entirely elusive to these communities. To reach out in a collaboration of chant, song and symbolic gesture is divine, and makes the "feed" back to the privileged and engaged fan almost inconsequential.
Especially now, with major cutbacks to all native programs, and the appalling Harperian insensitivity to native needs, its good to see this type of initiative take place. Hopefully it grows roots.
It would have been sweet to experience this live from afar, but I'm more than content to know the band we love is investing their efforts on something like this.
To MAv and supporting team, just trying makes it all great. You done good mate! :thumb:
