I had all four out, and honestly, it wasn't bad at all. They juice you up pretty good during the procedure which was great, didn't feel a thing. Mildy sore after the stuff wore off, but it was easily combatted with some painkillers. The only bum-deal in the whole thing was not being able to eat anything solid.

I had all 4 out as well. I was knocked out for the actual removal and then had some good drugs for the next couple of days so it wasn't too horrible. But then 2 exactly 2 weeks later I flew from Wash DC to Los Angeles and it was pure hell. I don't know if it was the pressure changes or what, but I thought my whole head was going to explode. Worse than flying with a bad cold.
My jaw hurts just thinking about that.

I had all four pulled at once and it was terrible. All four were impacted and had to be shattered. I don't know which bruises were the worst; on my face, arms or legs?
The swelling took about a week to dissapate, and the bruising lasted for about two. The pain killers were my saving grace. My mom said that I sat on the floor in my room and watched Donnie Brasco three times in a row. I could watch the movie today, and I'd swear I've never seen it!
The pain of getting these teeth out was nothing compared to my kidney stone surgery.

I had all four removed this past summer. They put me to sleep for it (best sleep i'd had in a really long time) and I didn't have much pain afterwards. It's different for everyone.
The day after the surgery I had to go to my college orientation/registration thing. I was such a grouch after not eating anything for a day.
I hope you recover quickly!

Oh man. I was just at the dentist today for a cleaning and I hated it. Having a wisdom tooth pulled would be hell. I think if I had to choose between going to the dentist and a colonoscopy...I'd have to think about it.

I had all four removed at once and I woke up with a guy straddleing my chest...it is foggy, but i swaer to god he was cursing up a storm and pulling for deal life. I was absolutely f'd up for a few days...

Holy crap, folks. Those are some scary stories. Just to update you all, it's been about 6 hours since they pulled my tooth, and there's hardly any pain at all. I'm allowed to eat soft foods now, so I'm gonna make me some soup for dinner.

My dentist wants to take all four of mine out.
I have never minded the dentist, but I have been too scared for the past two years to do the wisdom teeth.

Mine weren't bothering me and grew in properly, but due to the incessant badgering from the dentist ($$$$), I had all 4 of mine taken out a few years back. Was a breeze, and I quite enjoyed the drugs. 8)

take it easy, just hope the rest dont need to come up in the future.
my g/f had all 4 taken out, not too much bruising but she looked like a squirrel with nuts in her cheek for a week. Lots of pain.

Greedy dentists, I had one tell me about 10 years ago that they all had to come out or I'd be in terrible pain. 10 years later still have em all and not one bit of pain.
