Hey is anyone going to this show from the prairies (I'm coming from Winnipeg) if so how are you all getting there, and where are you staying (hotel or campground)?
Also dose any one know of any good hotels near the Gorge that are not already booked up?

Wow...good work on undertaking such an incredibly long trek! This reconfirms in me that people from Winnipeg are as tough as tough can get.

I went from Winnipeg to The Gorge for Pearl Jam last year. It's a long hike. We departed from Winnipeg at about 6:45AM, arrived in Vancouver around 9:30AM and rented a car. From there we drove to Bellevue, Washington which was about two hours from the airport and two hours to The Gorge. We checked into our hotel, drove to The Gorge and arrived at about 3PM. After the show was over it was gong show in parking lot so we had a snooze for an hour or so, left the parking lot around midnight and drove back to Bellevue. We got there around 3AM (had to stop and get gas), slept until 6AM and then drove back to Vancouver.

You're in for a treat. I was tempted to go but I'm going to hold off and hope that Pearl Jam plays again there this summer. I like some of the other bands on the festival bill but I'd prefer to see The Hip play their usual 2 hr set if I go that far.
