orangeville
#1

word is that the hip are playing the agricultural centre in orangeville. from what i can understand, it seems a little small, no? i never want to think that the band would be in some kind of downward spiral, but would this not indicate something like that? i as a hipfan have always been proud of the fact that they can basically sell out any venue in the gta, but this may indicate otherwise. i'm gonna take a beating here, i thinks!

Is Orangeville in Ontario?

And I wouldnt be worried about a downward spiral... the hip tend to play small venues prior to their cross canada tour... where they sell out such venues as "The Bell Centre" and "GM Place". Perhaps you've heard of them...

no, i completely understand your point, but the bands who play this venue, are on a much smaller scale than the hip. i know they play smaller venues, i go to them, but this one doesn't fit. just an opinion, and i'm sorry for offending anyone.

Orangeville is pretty darn close to Guelph...I wonder if they got the 2 cites mixed up or something...at least that would be excusable.

MAv kicked that source's ass. Paul used to do it himself but apparently he's now outsourcing some of his ass kickings. When you've kicked as much ass as Paul, you can afford to hire people to do it for you.

Matt Good has played that venue, and Blue Rodeo are coming soon!
